North Wales and Chester band, The Reads are to release the second single from their new album Crossfire.

The single, entitled Prettiest Scars, is due out on Friday, 22^nd May, 2020 and follows lead track Top Of The Rock, which received plays on 6Music via Radcliffe & Maconie and Janice Long’s evening show at BBC Radio Wales.

The original music for Prettiest Scars was written by lead guitarist, Jamie Russell, during a rainy family holiday on Anglesey.  He found a quiet corner (of the caravan?) and played around with a Nook tablet device he had stolen from the kids.  According to bass player and lyricist, Clare Stevenson, this track is about good old-fashioned lust, and the trouble it gets you into…
