2024 is set to start with one of the biggest gigs of our long and illustrious (ahem…) musical careers.
On the evening of Tuesday 27th February, 2024, we’ll be joining a jam-packed line-up to do our bit to tackle food poverty.
Organised by James’ guitarist Saul Davies and his partner Vanda Guerreiro, MUSIC FEEDS LIVE will take place at the O2 Apollo Manchester in a quest to raise £150,000 for foodbank charity The Trussell Trust.
The event will feature performers including James, The Farm, Starsailor, Chicane, Slow Readers Club, and British Poet Laureate Simon Armitage with his band LYR.
Oh… and us!
Just to make the whole thing even more memorable we’re performing our two tracks with Joe Duddell (composer of string and brass arrangements on Stories from the Border) AND A FULL BLOODY ORCHESTRA!!
This cause is really important to each of us in the band, so it’s an absolute honour to be asked to take part.
We’d love it if you could support us AND The Trussell Trust by coming along.
